The Needlework and Textile Guild of Michigan is a multidisciplinary fiber-art guild. The purpose of the guild is to bring together members who learn, share, teach, and participate in workshops, talks, and demonstrations relating to a wide variety of the fiber arts. Members have interests ranging from quilting and embroidery to weaving, wearable art, beading, and art dollmaking. Speakers are locally and nationally-recognized.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, starting at about 9:30 AM, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall, 165 East Square Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. The church's phone number is (248) 338-8233. [View Map]
Guests are welcome to attend morning meetings ($5 guest fee). Workshops are open to guests when space is available, and fees vary depending on length. Yearly dues are $40 (prorated after January).
